Students Preventing violence And Reclaiming Community, a youth-led prevention initiative of The Women's Community and funded by Dani’s Journey Education Fund. SPARC seeks to empower youth to engage in activism, change the culture of dating and sexual violence, and uplift youth voice across Marathon County. Students will be educated about healthy relationships, consent, social justice, and advocacy, and will be trained to act as peer resources within their schools and communities to bring awareness to these issues and how they intersect. Students who are hired will be compensated at $10 per hour for their work in the group.
